These sterling silver dangle earrings are a perfect embodiment of the minimalist beauty of the desert. They are cast from the wide, ribbed spines of a compass barrel cactus in a brilliant silver, creating a bold earring that features the hues, shapes, and textures of the desert. The spines dangle from earwires that are handmade and hammered for strength.
The backs of the earrings retain the spine texture and are stamped with my maker's mark and "925" to indicate that they're sterling. The spines are 5-6mm across and 2.25” tall, making a pair of earrings that are 3” from the top of the earwire to the point of the spine.
Available in a range of sizes up to 3.5" long (total earring length), with the points up or down.
Also, please note that these are made from cactus spines, and, while I do file the points down, they should still be worn with some caution!
